This newsletter only uses personal information to send the newsletter, manage subscriptions, and understand whether the work is reaching readers.

If you subscribe, I may collect your email address, name if you provide it, subscription status, and basic email engagement information, such as whether a message was delivered, opened, or clicked.

Some subscribers may have been added because they signed up for, supported, donated to, volunteered for, or otherwise engaged with my campaign or related political work. The purpose of this newsletter is to continue public-interest writing about politics, power, democracy, and what it means for people’s lives.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email. Unsubscribes will be honored.

If you choose a paid subscription, payment processing is handled by Stripe. I may receive or have access to information needed to manage your subscription, such as your name, email address, subscription tier, payment status, renewal or cancellation status, and limited transaction information. I never receive your full credit card information.

Paid subscriptions support this newsletter and publication. They are not campaign contributions.

I do not sell this email list. I do not share subscriber information for commercial marketing. I may use service providers, including Ghost and email delivery or analytics providers, to operate the site, manage subscriptions, process payments, and send the newsletter.

If this project later adds additional features that change what information is collected or how it is used, this page will be updated.
